📜 Open Play Guidelines
During open club play, we follow the 2 out/4 out rules. If there are less than 6 paddles waiting in line, then when the game is over, the winners remain on the court (and usually split) and 2 new players join. If there are 6 or more paddles in line, all 4 players are replaced with new players. Play to 11, win by 2.
Stacking paddles to play with specific people is allowed at the back of the line. Any individual winning 3 games in a row will leave the court and return to the line, unless there are no paddles in line. Please say the score and server number loud enough so all players can hear. It helps everyone keep track of the game and move it along. Skill levels
All skill levels are welcome. It is the responsibility of everyone to help new players learn the game. Different skill level courts may form during club play. This may result in a beginner and/or advanced court, often referred to as a "challenge" court. There may be separate paddle lines formed for each court, but please only join one line. On the challenge court, winning teams may choose to remain as a team to challenge the new players. Challenge courts are generally best for consistent 3.5 and higher players as the play is intense, but anyone is welcome to challenge! You can gauge your skill level using indicators show here >> |
